I grew up in Grand Blanc, MI and now live in Fenton with my wife Marissa and our two young children.
Having earned my undergraduate degree in Computer Science, I initially embarked on a career as a Cryptography Analyst for the Defense Department, based in the Maryland-D.C. area. It was during this period that I cultivated a profound interest in medical research, specifically focusing on combating and decelerating the progression of prevalent American diseases such as heart disease, cancer, obesity, and type 2 diabetes. This burgeoning passion ignited my aspiration to transition into the field of medicine, where I could directly contribute to the treatment and prevention of these life-threatening conditions. Aligning with my holistic perspective on disease management, I returned to my home state of Michigan to attend the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, finding the osteopathic principles deeply resonant with my own approach.
